DroneInfo.in, hereinafter referred to as “DroneInfo.in” / “we” / “our,” takes its responsibility to our readers seriously. This Correction Policy is designed to inform you about the steps we take to correct inaccurate or incomplete information published on our website. We are committed to accountability and believe it is our duty to inform our readers about corrections as quickly as possible.
Core Principles
We strive to present news and information about the drone industry that is complete and factually accurate based on the information available to us at the time of publication. If we become aware of any error, we will make an immediate effort to correct it. We not only update the content on our website but also issue corrections or clarifications on our social media platforms. For significant errors that could spread misinformation, we may also publish an editor’s note explaining the nature of the error and how it was corrected. We will apologize to our readers in a timely manner for any major inaccuracies.
Updating a Report
Whenever a story is updated or corrected, we will add a note to it so that readers are aware of the changes. If a significant error is corrected or a new update is included, we will place a bold note at the top of the article, such as “[Correction: Updated Information],” and clearly explain what was changed.
Our readers can also submit corrections by emailing us at info@droneinfo.in.
Corrections
If we make a material correction to an article, photo caption, headline, graphic, video, or other content, we will promptly publish a clear correction notice explaining why the change was made.
Clarification
If our reporting is factually correct but the language is unclear or insufficient, we will improve the wording and add clarification. Similarly, if a comment or response was not initially included but is later added, we will also provide a clarification.
Editor’s Notes
If a correction raises questions about the integrity of an entire article or involves a significant ethical issue, an editor’s note will be added to explain the situation. This note must be approved by a senior editor.
Other Correction Policies
- If a reader points out an error in the comments section, our team may post a notice of the correction there.
- Incorrect information on social media will be corrected or removed immediately upon discovery.
- We do not hold individual reporters or editors solely responsible for an error.
Reporting Errors
If you notice an error in any of our news articles, regulations, or databases, you can inform us directly by emailing us at droneinfo.in@gmail.com
Take-down Requests
We generally do not accept take-down requests. If the accuracy of a story is questioned, we will investigate and publish a correction if necessary. We may update or follow up on our previous coverage if appropriate, but we do not remove the entire story.
In cases involving publicly available personal information, a take-down request will only be considered if the individual faces a physical threat.
Content Revision Assistance
If you spot an error or want a correction, please send us the necessary details. We will update the content and photos promptly. To request a correction, send the link to the story and a description of the error to droneinfo.in@gmail.com
